Education drives away the darkness of ignorance and illuminates the path of righteous thought and action in the life of a person. Government Kalidas Girls College is a premier educational institution of Vikram University with the exemplary mission to nurture young women. Kalidas College was established in 1982 with only 200 students. Today, it holds the strength of approximately 3000 students. It has continuously been hoisting its flag of success since then. The college, endowed with a progressive futuristic outlook, aims for continual growth in qualitative academic activities. We were awarded an A Grade in a rental building in the first cycle of the NAAC Accreditation. Our college is marching ahead in the direction of setting various dimensions. Our departments of sports, NSS, NCC, Red Ribbon Club, Eco Club, and Vivekanand Career Guidance Cell work for the multi-faceted development of our students. Our faculties teach not only academic programs but also life skills required for students’ overall self-development. Our students have not only achieved meritorious positions in Vikram University but also have proved their talent and skills in various cultural, social, sports, NCC, and NSS activities, collecting numerous medals and awards. Being the Principal of Kalidas College is a matter of pride and honor to me. We work with a sense of commitment to fulfilling the expectations of students, parents, and society. I wish that Govt. Kalidas Girls’ College will strive to remain an enlightened place of learning.
