The aim of the Examination Department is to carry out all the exams at UG and PG level with utmost precision and to publish the results without any flaw, according to the academic calendar.

Govt Kalidas College has a total student enrollment of approximately 2800-3000, encompassing both regular and private students, on an annual basis. The institution is responsible for administering examinations to these students, strictly adhering to the directives issued by Vikram University, Ujjain. The university publishes the examination schedule, which serves as the basis for the college's examination process.

Notably, the institution accommodates a substantial number of private students, in addition to its regular student body, for examination purposes. The examination process is efficiently managed and conducted in three shifts. On an annual basis, the college demonstrates its capacity to successfully administer examinations to a large and diverse student population.

The Examination Cell, in conjunction with the IT Support Cell, plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of examinations, from commencement to completion.

With the escalating number of students, it becomes mandatory to make the required changes in the procedures and functioning of the department. Keeping this in mind, the Exam Department continuously strives to make necessary amendments in the traditional examination and evaluation pattern. To meet its objectives with perfection, the department has developed the IT Cell to facilitate easy interface for the exchange of information online, which not only helps in adapting to the changes occurring in the present times but also in eliminating and minimizing errors.

    • Setting up secure storage and distribution systems for papers.
  • Examination Conduct and Invigilation:
    • Ensuring examinations are conducted properly with rules and regulations.
    • Recruiting, training, and assigning invigilators.
    • Preventing malpractice and maintaining discipline.
  • Answer Script Evaluation:
    • Collecting and securely storing answer scripts.
  • Result Processing and Publication:
    • Publishing results in various formats (mark sheets, grade cards, online portals).
    • Issuing transcripts and certificates.
  • Record Keeping and Archiving:
    • Maintaining records of all exam-related activities.
    • Archiving papers and results for future reference.
